How to Support our Troops
There are two main ways to support our soldiers. The simplest way is through a financial contribution which will go towards purchasing products and shipping them directly to our soldiers and veterans. The link to contribute is below.
An additional way to support our soldiers and veterans is to donate the needed items they require. Please see the list below for the preferred items. You can drop off items in the soldiers box located in the parking area of First Baptist Church Hingham. We will package and ship those items directly to our soldiers and veterans.
Preferred List of Items Needed for our Soldiers and Veterans
Donate:
Chapsticks or lip balms
Coffee (ground)
Dental floss
Deodorant for men and women
Healthy snacks: hard candy (individually wrapped), mints, trail mix, Jerky, Slim Jims, raisins or other dried fruit, Fig Newtons, Oreos, Granola Bars all varieties, nuts, granola, gum, peanut butter crackers, small packets of crackers
Macaroni and cheese (individual microwavable)
Oatmeal (instant)
Pain relievers (Advil, Motrin, Tylenol, Aspirin)
Peanut butter (small jars)
Pepperoni
Playing cards
Popcorn packets (microwavable)
Pop-top cans of fruit, ravioli, etc.
Powdered, presweetened, & in packets (tea, Kool-aid, Gatorade, lemonade, hot chocolate)
Protein bars, granola bars, power bars
Razors (disposable)
SoapSocks (wool/cotton blend or 100% wool; black; size 10-13)
Soup (packets of instant soup, Ramen noodles)
T-shirts all sizes
Throat lozenges or cough drops
Tissues (travel size)
Toothbrushes & toothpaste
Tuna or chicken salad canned or in foil packets
