Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I,
Here am I;
send me.

Letters To Dad Commercial. What do you do when you miss a dad who’s far away?
Lizzie Palmer created this video on YouTube.
This video is taken from a British series where Gareth Malone takes a group of military wives and turns them into a choir. The husbands are all away in Afghanistan. Gareth looks about 16 years old but is actually in his mid-30s and a Choir master for the London Symphony Orchestra, among other things. They wrote a song based on excerpts from letters written by the couples whilst apart and this is the beautiful result.
We want to acknowledge the generosity and leadership of the Old Colony Youth Football Program, including Marshfield, Hingham, Duxbury, Rockland, and more, for their donations of 700 pairs of socks for our troops.
The Lion's President, Mark Casales, unloaded $1500 of merchandise that day, just bought at Walmart with careful planning for our troops needs. In addition, the Lion's Club donated $1000 toward the postage of their items.
In October we received another $500 check from the VFW of Hingham, Post 6053.
Carole Ellis heard of an idea for her husband, Hugh's, birthday party. She invited friends and family by invitation and also inside was a request to bring donations (she included an item list) and/or a check for Care Package postage for our Soldiers instead of gifts for Hugh. The party was wonderful and the type and quantity of contributions was overwhelming.
Where we are going we will really have no chance to get to any stores as they are all closing down so whatever family and friends send is what they get.  Anything would be appreciated. -- I. Nadeau.

Charlie (then 7 years old) has had another birthday and once again he asked for gifts for the troops instead of gifts for himself.
You don't have to be a kid to have a birthday party with soldier gifts. Donations have been given in honor of a 60th birthday party.
The Hingham Lions Club once again made a generous contribution to our Care Packages. On December 31 they donated $1000 to our cause. Photos.
The Hingham Lions Club made a significant contribution to Care Packages, once again. On June 26-27, they held a troop supply drive at the Stop & Shop near the shipyard. See more in
